The Battle for the Emerald Tiger

The plot of this battle is this: A mysterious cave appeared in the side of a mountain, in the midst of a dense jungle. Big cats from all around the world heard that the cave housed a beautiful prize: The Emerald Tiger. The one who claimed it would have fame for generations, but everyone seems to have found it at the same time. There will be a battle.

I'll start

Mirage looked left, then right, stepping quietly from the darkness of the cave and into a huge, thick-walled chamber, surrounded on all sides by a dome of shining rock. The entrance she'd come from was the end of a long tunnel, marked with several booby traps (some of which she had accidentally set off). In the middle of the chamber stood a raised platform, high off the ground and characterized by the golden steps wrapping around it, up and up until they reached the top. Mirage squinted her pale, mint eyes, just barely catching a glimpse of the emerald light emanating from the famed Tiger-shaped statue. The lioness looked around again, then listened behind her, waiting for any sign of life within the cave; None came. The lioness took the opportunity to prance into the room, making no effort to conceal herself as that would be near impossible. She was a very light grey,nearly white, with a large tuft of fur around her neck. Call it a mane, perhaps. Regardless of what you'd call it, Mirage stood out even in the lowered light of the chamber. Her pelt shone even lighter than normal as she approached the golden steps, large paws padding slowly as she began to make her way to her prize.

With attentive cognac hued eyes, Charon observed the pale lioness's approach. His perch was tucked into a nook towards the side of the shadowy ceiling of the massive dome as he had gained access to the mysterious cave by entering a narrow tunnel at the top of the mountain. It had been a vertical journey from there, and Charon nearly lost his footing on multiple occasions, but his wide black paws and flexible leopard body had managed to save him from falling. His dark colored fur allowed him to blend with the shadows, faded spots matching the texture of the rock that surrounded his frame. He had arrived in his lounging position only moments before the light-hued lioness had snuck in, and he was sure from her demeanor that she was after the same item as he was. His paws prickled with excitement as the adrenaline rushed through his veins in preparation to fight. Rising silently, Charon let his lithe body slip from his perch as he leapt down covering the 15 foot drop to the ground below in a smooth, practiced motion. A smirk appeared across his muzzle as he faced his pale opponent without a word.

Decides to attempt to rp after like, two years

Kai observed the brawl coming apart beneath her and let out a scoff. She was not one for fighting, no. She would let these two fight it out and take her chances using cunning skills. Her banner tapped soft rhythmic beats on the tree she called her perch, her spots blending into the dark terra firma of the cave. She had been watching this said cave for many days, observing the patterns of it and those who came forth to it. She would make her move the smart way and get what she wanted, or die trying.
